Bonnie Schneider is a CNN meteorologist, who is available on HLN, CNN, and various other platforms. In March 2012, she will be the TV expert, co-executive, and producer of a DIY NETWORK special entitled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Her first book EXTREME weather published Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston, she also provided the entertainment and lifestyle reports as an assignment reporter for on a daily basis. She worked at WFOR-TV as a meteorologist on weekends before moving to WB56. She has held several jobs in meteorology and reporting, such as: News 12 Long Island which is a 24 hour broadcasting network for news and entertainment, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She also worked for the CBS network within New York City as a regular fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show.
